4. APPLICABILITY

This Shipping Policy applies to:

  • guest checkout orders;
  • registered customer accounts;
  • promotional purchases;
  • discounted purchases;
  • prepaid orders;
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders;
  • gift purchases;
  • future products unless otherwise specified.

Separate shipping terms may apply to marketplace purchases (such as Amazon, Flipkart, or other authorized marketplaces).

5. SHIPPING COVERAGE

IMPERA currently delivers products throughout eligible locations within the Republic of India.

Delivery depends upon:

  • courier service availability;
  • serviceable PIN codes;
  • operational feasibility;
  • weather conditions;
  • government regulations;
  • local restrictions.

Certain remote, rural, or restricted areas may not be serviceable.

IMPERA reserves the right to:

  • add new delivery locations;
  • remove delivery locations;
  • temporarily suspend deliveries;
  • permanently discontinue deliveries to specific locations;

without prior notice where operationally necessary.

6. SERVICEABLE PIN CODES

Delivery availability is determined using the courier partner's serviceability network.

Even if a PIN code has previously been serviceable, temporary suspension may occur because of:

  • natural disasters;
  • courier network changes;
  • transportation disruptions;
  • security concerns;
  • government orders;
  • operational constraints.

If your location becomes non-serviceable after an order has been placed, IMPERA may:

  • cancel the order;
  • issue a full refund;
  • contact you regarding alternative delivery options where feasible.

7. BUSINESS DAYS

For the purposes of this Shipping Policy:

Business Days mean Monday through Saturday, excluding:

  • Sundays;
  • National Holidays;
  • Public Holidays;
  • Government-declared holidays;
  • Company-declared operational holidays.

Processing and delivery estimates are calculated using Business Days unless expressly stated otherwise.

8. ORDER PROCESSING

Every order placed with IMPERA undergoes several operational steps before dispatch.

These include:

  • payment verification;
  • fraud screening;
  • inventory allocation;
  • product picking;
  • quality inspection;
  • packaging;
  • shipment preparation;
  • courier booking.

Orders are generally processed within 24–48 Business Hours after successful order confirmation.

During periods of exceptionally high demand, processing may take longer.

Examples include:

  • festive sales;
  • launch events;
  • promotional campaigns;
  • inventory audits;
  • warehouse upgrades.

Processing times are estimates only.

9. ORDER VERIFICATION

Before dispatch, IMPERA may verify certain orders to protect customers and prevent fraud.

Verification may include:

  • payment confirmation;
  • billing information;
  • shipping address validation;
  • mobile number verification;
  • suspicious purchasing patterns;
  • previous order history.

Customers may occasionally be contacted for additional verification before shipment.

Failure to complete verification within a reasonable period may result in cancellation of the order.

10. QUALITY INSPECTION

Every shipment undergoes quality inspection before dispatch.

Inspection may include verification of:

  • correct product;
  • correct shade;
  • quantity;
  • packaging condition;
  • manufacturing integrity;
  • seal condition;
  • expiry compliance;
  • external appearance.

This process helps reduce shipping errors and ensures customers receive products meeting IMPERA's quality standards.

11. PACKAGING STANDARDS

Products are packed using packaging materials selected to minimize the risk of damage during transportation.

Packaging methods may include:

  • protective cushioning;
  • tamper-evident sealing;
  • moisture-resistant materials where appropriate;
  • secure cartons;
  • protective fillers.

Packaging style may change over time without affecting product quality.

Gift wrapping or premium packaging may be offered separately where available.

12. ORDER DISPATCH

Following successful processing, orders are dispatched through one of our authorized logistics partners.

Dispatch generally occurs within 24–48 Business Hours after processing is completed.

Dispatch timelines may vary depending upon:

  • warehouse operations;
  • courier pickup schedules;
  • regional logistics;
  • weather;
  • public holidays.

Dispatch confirmation indicates that the shipment has been handed over to the courier partner.

It does not guarantee delivery within a specified number of days.

13. SHIPPING PARTNERS

IMPERA works with trusted logistics providers to facilitate nationwide deliveries.

Courier partners may change without prior notice depending on:

  • destination;
  • service quality;
  • delivery speed;
  • operational requirements;
  • shipment size.

Selection of courier partners remains solely at IMPERA's discretion.

Customers cannot ordinarily request shipment through a specific courier.

14. SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping charges, where applicable, are displayed before checkout is completed.

Shipping costs may vary based on:

  • delivery location;
  • order value;
  • package dimensions;
  • shipment weight;
  • promotional campaigns;
  • delivery method.

Any shipping charges payable will be clearly displayed before payment is completed.

No hidden shipping charges are added after successful checkout.

15. FREE SHIPPING

From time to time, IMPERA may offer:

  • Free Shipping;
  • Reduced Shipping;
  • Promotional Shipping Campaigns.

Eligibility may depend upon:

  • minimum purchase value;
  • promotional period;
  • customer location;
  • selected products.

Free shipping promotions may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn at any time unless already applied to a completed order.

16. SHIPPING CONFIRMATION

Once an order has been dispatched, customers will generally receive shipping confirmation through one or more of the following:

  • Email;
  • SMS;
  • WhatsApp (where available).

Shipping confirmation may include:

  • courier partner;
  • tracking number;
  • shipment reference;
  • estimated delivery timeline.

Customers should retain these communications for future reference.

17. ORDER TRACKING

Customers can monitor shipment progress using the tracking information provided after dispatch.

Tracking information is supplied by our courier partners.

While IMPERA makes reasonable efforts to ensure tracking accuracy, tracking updates depend upon courier systems and may occasionally experience delays or temporary inaccuracies.

If tracking information does not update for an extended period, customers may contact our Customer Support team for assistance.

18. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMELINES

After your order has been successfully processed and dispatched, the estimated delivery timelines are generally as follows:

Location

Estimated Delivery

Metro Cities

2–4 Business Days

Tier II & Tier III Cities

3–7 Business Days

Remote & Rural Locations

5–10 Business Days (where serviceable)

These timelines are estimates only and should not be interpreted as guaranteed delivery commitments.

Actual delivery times may vary due to:

  • destination location;
  • courier network availability;
  • weather conditions;
  • transportation disruptions;
  • public holidays;
  • government restrictions;
  • local law enforcement activities;
  • operational delays;
  • force majeure events;
  • unforeseen logistical circumstances.

IMPERA shall make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery but cannot guarantee delivery within any specific timeframe.

19. DELIVERY SCHEDULE

Courier deliveries are generally made during normal business hours.

Delivery timing depends upon the operating schedule of the courier partner and may vary by location.

Deliveries may occur:

  • Monday through Saturday;
  • during local courier operating hours;
  • excluding certain public holidays;
  • excluding areas where local courier schedules differ.

Customers should ensure that someone is available to receive the package during the estimated delivery period.

20. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Courier partners generally make multiple reasonable attempts to deliver an order before returning it to IMPERA.

The exact number of delivery attempts is determined by the courier partner's operational policies.

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • the customer is unavailable;
  • the premises are locked;
  • the address is inaccessible;
  • the customer cannot be contacted;
  • delivery is refused;

the shipment may be returned to IMPERA.

Repeated failed delivery attempts may also affect eligibility for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders in the future.

21. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for ensuring that accurate and complete information is provided when placing an order.

This includes:

  • full recipient name;
  • complete delivery address;
  • correct PIN code;
  • accurate landmark;
  • valid mobile number;
  • active email address.

Customers should also:

  • remain reachable during the delivery period;
  • cooperate with courier personnel where reasonably necessary;
  • inspect the package upon delivery;
  • promptly report any visible issues.

Failure to fulfil these responsibilities may result in delivery delays, failed deliveries, additional charges, or order cancellation.

22. ADDRESS ACCURACY

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered during checkout is complete and accurate.

IMPERA shall not be responsible for losses arising from:

  • incorrect addresses;
  • incomplete addresses;
  • invalid PIN codes;
  • outdated addresses;
  • missing apartment or building information;
  • incorrect recipient names.

If an order is delivered to the address exactly as provided by the customer, IMPERA shall ordinarily consider its delivery obligations fulfilled.

23. ADDRESS CHANGE REQUESTS

Customers may request changes to the shipping address before an order has been processed for dispatch.

Address modification requests are subject to:

  • operational feasibility;
  • warehouse processing status;
  • courier booking status;
  • fraud prevention requirements.

Once an order has been dispatched, IMPERA cannot guarantee that the shipping address can be changed.

Some courier partners may permit address modification after dispatch, while others may not.

Where available, such requests remain entirely at the discretion of the courier partner.

24. DELIVERY VERIFICATION

Delivery may be verified through one or more of the following methods:

  • courier proof of delivery (POD);
  • electronic delivery confirmation;
  • GPS delivery records;
  • recipient signature;
  • OTP verification;
  • courier delivery photographs (where supported);
  • courier scan records.

IMPERA may rely upon courier records as evidence that delivery has been successfully completed.

25. OTP DELIVERY

Certain deliveries may require a One-Time Password (OTP) issued by the courier partner.

Customers are responsible for:

  • keeping the OTP confidential;
  • sharing the OTP only with the delivery representative at the time of delivery;
  • ensuring that unauthorized persons do not use the OTP.

If an OTP is shared with another individual, IMPERA shall not be responsible for deliveries completed using the valid OTP.

26. SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS

Some shipments may require a recipient's signature upon delivery.

The signature may be obtained from:

  • the customer;
  • an adult family member;
  • an authorized recipient present at the delivery address.

Once a shipment has been accepted by an authorized recipient, delivery shall ordinarily be considered complete.

27. PACKAGE INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

Customers are encouraged to inspect the package immediately upon receipt.

Please verify:

  • external condition of the package;
  • signs of tampering;
  • visible damage;
  • missing items;
  • incorrect products.

If significant external damage is visible, customers should:

  • take photographs before opening the package;
  • retain all packaging materials;
  • contact IMPERA Customer Support promptly.

Prompt reporting helps facilitate investigation and resolution.

28. DAMAGED OUTER PACKAGING

Damage to the external shipping package does not necessarily indicate damage to the products inside.

Where the external packaging appears damaged but the products remain intact and usable, such cosmetic damage to shipping materials alone shall not ordinarily constitute grounds for replacement or refund.

Each claim will be evaluated individually based on the specific circumstances.

29. DELIVERY DELAYS

Although IMPERA endeavors to dispatch and deliver orders promptly, delivery delays may occasionally occur.

Examples include:

  • severe weather;
  • flooding;
  • cyclones;
  • earthquakes;
  • transportation disruptions;
  • traffic restrictions;
  • strikes;
  • political unrest;
  • government orders;
  • pandemic restrictions;
  • customs inspections (where applicable);
  • courier operational delays;
  • technical failures;
  • public holidays;
  • peak shopping seasons.

Delivery estimates should therefore be regarded as indicative rather than guaranteed.

30. HIGH ORDER VOLUME PERIODS

Processing and delivery may take longer during periods of exceptionally high order volumes, including:

  • festive seasons;
  • major promotional campaigns;
  • clearance sales;
  • product launches;
  • Black Friday;
  • Cyber Monday;
  • New Year campaigns;
  • Diwali campaigns;
  • other large-scale sales events.

During such periods, customers are requested to allow additional time for processing and delivery.

31. WEATHER & NATURAL DISRUPTIONS

Delivery schedules may be affected by adverse weather conditions or natural disasters.

Examples include:

  • heavy rainfall;
  • floods;
  • storms;
  • cyclones;
  • landslides;
  • earthquakes;
  • snowfall;
  • extreme heat conditions.

Where such events occur, delivery timelines may be extended until normal transportation services resume.

32. GOVERNMENT & REGULATORY RESTRICTIONS

Certain deliveries may be delayed or restricted due to:

  • government regulations;
  • curfews;
  • emergency orders;
  • law enforcement actions;
  • public health measures;
  • transportation restrictions.

IMPERA shall not be liable for delays resulting directly from such governmental actions.

33. REMOTE & DIFFICULT-TO-ACCESS LOCATIONS

Deliveries to remote or difficult-to-access areas may require additional transit time.

Such locations may include:

  • rural villages;
  • mountainous regions;
  • islands;
  • military zones;
  • restricted-access communities.

Delivery timelines for these areas may exceed the standard estimates.

34. SPLIT SHIPMENTS

For operational efficiency, IMPERA may divide an order into multiple shipments.

This may occur due to:

  • warehouse allocation;
  • inventory availability;
  • packaging requirements;
  • courier optimization;
  • safety considerations.

Split shipments may arrive on different dates.

Customers will not ordinarily incur additional shipping charges solely because IMPERA elects to split a shipment.

35. PARTIAL DELIVERIES

Where an order contains multiple products, individual items may occasionally be delivered separately.

Reasons may include:

  • stock availability;
  • warehouse location;
  • shipment size;
  • courier routing;
  • operational efficiency.

Remaining items will generally be delivered as soon as reasonably practicable.

36. COURIER EXCEPTIONS

Courier partners occasionally report operational exceptions beyond IMPERA's control.

Examples include:

  • delayed scanning;
  • shipment rerouting;
  • vehicle breakdowns;
  • sorting delays;
  • temporary warehouse congestion;
  • transportation disruptions.

Such exceptions may affect tracking updates and delivery timelines.

IMPERA will cooperate with courier partners to resolve such issues whenever reasonably possible.

37. RISK OF LOSS

The risk of accidental loss, theft, or damage transfers to the customer upon successful delivery of the shipment to the delivery address.

Customers are encouraged to promptly inspect the delivered products and report any concerns without unreasonable delay.

38. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

Ownership of products purchased from IMPERA transfers to the customer upon successful delivery and receipt of payment in full.

Until delivery is completed, products remain the property of IMPERA.

39. RETURNED TO ORIGIN (RTO)

A shipment may be returned to IMPERA ("Returned to Origin" or "RTO") when delivery cannot be successfully completed.

Common reasons include, but are not limited to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address;
  • Incorrect PIN code;
  • Recipient unavailable after reasonable delivery attempts;
  • Customer refuses to accept the shipment;
  • Delivery location is inaccessible;
  • Customer's phone number is unreachable or switched off;
  • Delivery prohibited due to local restrictions;
  • Courier partner unable to locate the address;
  • Security restrictions at the delivery location;
  • Force majeure events preventing delivery.

An RTO does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, replacement, or free re-shipment.

Each case shall be reviewed individually in accordance with this Shipping Policy, our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy, and applicable law.

40. CUSTOMER REFUSAL OF DELIVERY

Customers are expected to accept delivery of orders that they have voluntarily placed.

Refusal to accept delivery without a legitimate reason may result in:

  • Return of the shipment to IMPERA;
  • Additional shipping charges for re-dispatch;
  • Restriction or removal of Cash on Delivery (COD) eligibility;
  • Cancellation of future promotional benefits;
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of customer account privileges in cases of repeated abuse.

Customers should not refuse delivery merely because:

  • they changed their mind after dispatch;
  • they no longer require the product;
  • delivery took longer than expected due to circumstances beyond IMPERA's reasonable control.

If you no longer wish to receive the order after dispatch, please refer to our Return, Replacement &Refund Policy for the appropriate process.

41. RE-SHIPPING OF RETURNED ORDERS

Where an order has been returned to IMPERA due to reasons attributable to the customer, we may, at our sole discretion:

  • re-dispatch the shipment after receiving payment of applicable re-shipping charges;
  • cancel the order and process any eligible refund after deducting applicable shipping and handling costs where permitted by law;
  • decline to re-dispatch the order in cases involving repeated misuse or suspected fraud.

Re-shipping is subject to:

  • product availability;
  • successful verification;
  • payment of applicable charges (if any);
  • operational feasibility.

42. UNCLAIMED SHIPMENTS

If a shipment remains unclaimed with the courier partner and is returned to IMPERA, the order shall be treated similarly to an RTO shipment.

Customers who wish to receive the shipment again may be required to:

  • confirm the delivery address;
  • verify contact information;
  • pay applicable re-shipping charges;
  • complete any additional verification requested by IMPERA.

Failure to respond within a reasonable period may result in cancellation of the order.

43. LOST SHIPMENTS

If a shipment appears to have been lost while in transit, IMPERA will initiate an investigation with the relevant courier partner.

A shipment may be considered potentially lost where:

  • tracking has remained inactive for an unusually long period;
  • the courier confirms loss;
  • delivery cannot be verified;
  • the shipment cannot be located despite investigation.

Investigation timelines depend upon the courier partner and may vary.

Customers agree to cooperate by providing any information reasonably requested during the investigation.

Where appropriate, IMPERA may:

  • issue a replacement;
  • issue a refund;
  • provide another suitable resolution.

Resolution will depend upon:

  • courier investigation findings;
  • stock availability;
  • applicable laws;
  • internal verification.

44. DAMAGED SHIPMENTS DURING TRANSIT

Despite careful packaging, products may occasionally sustain damage during transportation.

Customers should inspect their shipment promptly after delivery.

If products appear damaged due to transit, customers should:

  • retain all original packaging;
  • avoid discarding shipping materials;
  • take clear photographs of:
    • the outer package;
    • inner packaging;
    • shipping label;
    • damaged products;
  • contact IMPERA Customer Support as soon as reasonably possible.

Failure to preserve reasonable evidence may affect our ability to investigate the claim.

Each claim is reviewed individually.

45. MISSING ITEMS

If your shipment arrives but one or more purchased items are missing, please notify IMPERA promptly.

Customers may be requested to provide:

  • order number;
  • photographs of the package;
  • photographs of the contents received;
  • shipping label images;
  • packaging details.

IMPERA reserves the right to investigate the claim before determining the appropriate resolution.

Where a genuine packing error is confirmed, IMPERA may:

  • dispatch the missing item;
  • issue a refund for the missing item;
  • provide another suitable remedy.

46. INCORRECT PRODUCT DELIVERED

Although extensive quality checks are performed before dispatch, errors may occasionally occur.

If you receive the wrong product, please contact Customer Support promptly.

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • photographs of the received product;
  • shipping label;
  • packaging;
  • batch number (where applicable).

After verification, IMPERA may arrange:

  • replacement;
  • exchange;
  • return pickup (where available);
  • refund in accordance with our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy.

47. TAMPERED SHIPMENTS

If the outer shipping package appears:

  • opened;
  • damaged;
  • re-sealed;
  • tampered with;
  • significantly torn;

customers should:

  • document the condition with photographs;
  • notify the delivery representative where possible;
  • contact IMPERA immediately.

IMPERA will review the matter and coordinate with the courier partner where appropriate.

48. DELIVERY DISPUTES

If a customer disputes delivery despite courier records indicating successful delivery, IMPERA may investigate using available evidence, including:

  • courier proof of delivery;
  • GPS confirmation;
  • delivery photographs;
  • OTP confirmation;
  • recipient signature;
  • courier scan records;
  • internal shipping records.

Customers agree to cooperate during the investigation.

False delivery claims may result in:

  • denial of replacement or refund;
  • account review;
  • suspension of COD privileges;
  • legal action where fraud is established.

49. CASH ON DELIVERY (COD) SHIPPING

Cash on Delivery (COD) may be available only for eligible orders.

Availability depends on factors such as:

  • delivery PIN code;
  • order value;
  • product category;
  • courier availability;
  • fraud prevention measures;
  • customer order history.

IMPERA reserves the right to:

  • disable COD for certain locations;
  • disable COD for selected products;
  • limit COD order value;
  • require prepaid payment for certain customers;
  • introduce reasonable COD handling charges where clearly disclosed before checkout.

Repeated refusal of COD orders may result in permanent withdrawal of COD eligibility.

50. PREPAID ORDERS

Prepaid orders generally receive priority processing after successful payment confirmation.

Customers choosing prepaid payment methods may benefit from:

  • faster verification;
  • quicker dispatch;
  • reduced risk of cancellation due to payment issues.

However, prepaid orders remain subject to:

  • inventory availability;
  • quality checks;
  • operational constraints.

51. MARKETPLACE ORDERS

Products purchased through third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, or other authorized platforms are governed by the shipping policies of the respective marketplace.

While IMPERA manufactures and supplies the products, delivery operations may be managed by the marketplace or its logistics partners.

Customers purchasing through marketplaces should consult the applicable shipping policies published on those platforms.

52. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

At present, IMPERA primarily ships within India.

If international shipping becomes available in the future:

  • shipping charges may differ by destination;
  • customs duties;
  • import taxes;
  • VAT;
  • brokerage fees;
  • local government charges;

may be payable by the customer unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery timelines for international shipments are estimates only and may vary significantly due to customs clearance and local regulations.

Separate International Shipping Terms may be published if overseas shipping is introduced.

53. CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES (FUTURE INTERNATIONAL ORDERS)

For international orders, customers shall ordinarily be responsible for complying with:

  • customs regulations;
  • import licensing requirements;
  • local product restrictions;
  • tax obligations.

IMPERA shall not be liable for shipments delayed, confiscated, or rejected due to destination-country regulations.

54. SHIPPING LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, IMPERA shall not be liable for shipping delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • acts of God;
  • severe weather;
  • strikes;
  • transportation failures;
  • civil unrest;
  • government restrictions;
  • cyber incidents affecting logistics providers;
  • natural disasters;
  • pandemics;
  • war;
  • terrorism;
  • force majeure events.

Nothing in this clause limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

  • technological advancements;
  • legal or regulatory requirements;
  • changes in courier partner practices.

The latest version will always be published on our Website with the updated effective date.

Continued use of the Website and placement of orders after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Shipping Policy.

57. FORCE MAJEURE

IMPERA shall not be responsible for any delay, interruption, failure to dispatch, failure to deliver, or inability to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IMPERA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to shipping or delivery, including but not limited to:

  • delivery delays;
  • courier operational failures;
  • failed delivery attempts;
  • shipment rerouting;
